Kakching, January 19 2025:
The Kha-Maikei Light Vehicle (Passenger) Service Association, Kakching, has urged all organisations not to demand unaffordable monetary demands.
In a statement, the Association highlighted that its members are struggling fo repay vehicle installments and foot bills for repairing vehicles.
Furthermore, a significant number of service providers are finding it difficult to make ends meet due to shortage of passengers on certain days, with some even having to return home without picking up a single passenger.
The association said that under such circumstances, passenger service providers are facing serious financial issues.
As such, it urged all organisations committed to serve interest of the public, to stop slapping monetary demand on the association.
The Association, however, expressed willingness to extend cooperation as and when needed.
