Imphal, January 19 2022: State Level Committee for common counselling of candidates for post-graduate medical courses in JNIMS and RIMS for the academic session 2021-2022 has been formed.

The first round of counselling will be conducted on January 22 .

An order issued by deputy secretary (health & FW) Soiminlian Lengen informed that additional chief secretary (health & FW) will be the chairman while Manipur University's School of Medical Sciences dean, JNIMS director, RIMS director, JNIMS dean (academic), RIMS dean (academic) and deputy director of health services (training) will be members of the committee.

The first round of counselling will be conducted on January 22 at JNIMS auditorium and second round on February 14 at RIMS.

Meanwhile, JNIMS director L Deben advised all the candidates who will attend the first counselling to report to authority before 9 am .

The counselling will begin from 10 am onwards, he continued, while adding that candidates should strictly follow Covid-19 appropriate behaviour.
