Bike rally kicks off SDSA celebration

As Senapati District Students' Association (SDSA) gears up for celebrating 50 years of existence, a bike rally was held at Khabung Karong Bazar which was kicked off by former president Rangpung John.
The bike rally was participated by the Royal Brothers, Senapati along with some student leaders of the association and federating unit.
The rally took the route of going to the old Toll Tax and back to SDSA office.
Addressing the gathering before the flag-off, Pung Mark stated that the district's apex student body is celebrating its golden jubilee on December 11 this year under the theme, "Prospering together." The bike rally, he said is to make an announcement to the public about the forthcoming golden jubilee event.
The students' body is made up of five different major tribes of the district namely Mao, Maram, Poumai, Thangal and Zeliangrong.
It is stated to be strong with five units coming together as one and had prospered these 50 years of existence which made it unique.
Rangpung John also stated that the flagging off programme is historic in nature.
He on behalf of all the former leaders of SDSA wished for successful conduct of the jubilee celebration.
