IRB hills candidates threaten NH-2 blockade

Imphal, November 12 2021: All Manipur Hills Area 10 & 11 IRB Candidates-2019 warned of imposing economic blockade along National High-way-2 with effect from 10am of November 14 if the government fails to declare result of recruitment immediately and selected candidates train together with 2013 police constables, compulsorily.

The 10 & 11 IRB candidates' body also demanded immediate conduct of viva-voce for the 415 Jemadar candidates by issuing necessary notification.

It further cautioned the government that the agitation once launched would not be called off until fulfilment of the demands and appealed to CSOs, Meira Paibi grpups and general public to support the agitation.

A statement of All Manipur Hills Area 10 & 11 IRB Candidates-2019 issued by president Awungshi Leishipem urged government to resolve genuine issue of candidates by taking due process for honouring the demand at the eariiest or else candidates might even resort to extreme step as some candidates are suffering from depression due to non-declaration of the recruitment results.

Meanwhile, All Manipur Meitei.

Pangal 10 & 11 IRB Candidates-2019 vowed to extend support to the decision of Hills Area IRB Candidates and categorically stated that the government should be responsible for any untoward incident arising out of the issue.
