Imphal, November 09 2024: A charred body was found amongst a pile of burnt straw that was set on fire in Iroipat Loukol near Thambalnu Market under Andro Police Station on Saturday morning.

According to a press release by Andro PS OC, a report was received that a burned dead body was found amongst a pile of burnt straw in Iroipat Loukol near Thambalnu Market at around 7.30 am Saturday.

In this regard, Andro PS has registered a UD case.

On conducting an inquest of the body, the deceased was found wearing a blue colour jeans with a slender frame and looked to be 154 cm in height.

The dead body is being kept at JNIMS for identification and initiation of legal action.
