MSF observes 11th anniversary of academic campaign

Imphal, February 09 2025: Manipuri Students' Federation (MSF) observed the 11th anniversary of its academic campaign, "Eikhoi Lairik Ningthina Tamsi" at the Kwakeithel campus of Millennium Institute of Science on Sunday.

The observance was attended by SCERT director Aheibam Romen, BSEM chairman Akham Joykumar, Millennium principal Wahengbam Zenith and MSF president Hijam Roshan as presidium members.

In his speech, chairman Joykumar emphasised the role of students in building a good society and state.

He continued that the new NEP system has allowed students to showcase their various talents and help in finding their preferred, suitable choice of career.

He then said that the Department concerned and teachers play an important role in producing good students, adding that the Education Department, teachers and student bodies jointly play an integral role in producing exemplary students.

MSF president Hijam Roshan recounted the effort and work done by the Federation till date.

He then emphasised the need for all to know own history, art and culture and the wishes of the people so as to bring change.

He also stressed the need for saving the youth of the state from the drug menace, while understanding the central government's view of the state and the overall governance.
