Theatre Institute celebrates foundation day

Imphal, May 08 2022: Media Theatre Institute, Canchipur celebrated its 22nd foundation day at the auditoriurh-of Manipur Dramatic Union (MDU), Yaiskul Police Lane here on Sunday.

The institute's production 'Om Shanti' was also showcased as part of the event.

Power minister Th Biswajit and JN Manipur Dance Academy director P Bilash attended the event as chief guest and president respectively while Rupmahal Theatre director L Brajamohan, Critics Forum Manipur member Budha Chingtham and Media Theatre Institute president KB Sharma were present as guests of honour.

Written and directed by KB Sharma, the play 'Om Shanti' carries the message of harmony, peace and negative impact of advanced modern society.
