Wisecrabs conducts InQuiztive, 470 participate

The 5th edition of InQuiztive, the All Chandel Inter-School Competition, was held on October 4 at the multipurpose hall of the DC Office Complex in Chandel.
Organised by Wisecrabs, the annual event, which began in 2018, attracted participation of over 470 students from 14 schools across Chandel district.
The event was attended 21 Assam Rifles CO Col Abhimanyu Singh, Chandel DC Mayanglambam Rajkumar, SP Shivanand Surve, and additional SP Ts Chamna Anal as members on the dais.
United College Lam-bung assistant professors Sneh Lata Mishra, Meghna & Bd Maria, South East Manipur College, Kapaam assistant professor Sweety Roel, major Anupam of 21 AR, and JNV, Chandel teacher Kiran were the judges of the competitions.
The opening ceremony featured a choreography performance by students of St Theresa Kids Care Foundation.
Later, during the closing ceremony, students of Little Pearls School, Chakpikarong, entertained the audience with a musical performance.
The competition held in several categories had students from various schools showcasing their skills in quiz, debate, spelling bee, drawing, poem recitation, and elocution.
In quiz competition, Aaron Jhohrin Khumlo and Rimsson Kiriiti of Oriental Academy claimed the top prize, followed by Hmanningam Ruwndar and Koningam Hrangbung of Little Pearls School in second place, and Piiyush Kumar and Hannah Daryal of Koinonia Training School in third position.
In the debating competition, Mothangam Hulang and Macbeth Moses of St Peters' Higher Secondary School outpointed Ngamhring and Kamihring of Little Pearls School to secure the top prize as Angelene Aphavaar Chinir and Abigail Ringthar of South East Manipur Higher Secondary School took the third spot.
The spelling bee competition saw intense participation, with Ajay Poudel of Little Pearls School taking first place in the Class III and IV category followed by Drew Chimeme of Koinonia Training School in second, and Shuthawar Pashel of St Peters Higher Secondary School in third.
In the Class V and VI category, Mihrin Khumlo of Koinonia Training School won the competition, as Ps Kathana of Theophany Christian Academy and St Changdehrin of Koinonia Training School had to settle to second and third position respectively.
In the Class VII and VIII category, Vachangni of St Peters Higher Secondary School took the top spot, with Sengul Khihmanna of Little Pearls School coming second, and Serbum Chris Moyon of St Peters Higher Secondary School securing the third position.
The drawing competition also had enthusiastic participants.
In the nursery and kindergarten category, Ngamthawar Langhu of Koinonia Training School took first place, while Angn-ingson Runlel and Bd Khininghman, both of Little Pearls School, secured second and third place respectively.
In the Class I and II category, Somya Amit Mane of Assam Rifles Public School claimed the top prize, followed by Srija Mandal of ARPS in second place, and Leaphring Huten of Little Pearls School in third.
In the poem recitation contest, Nimshimwon Shimrah and Lucky Shelringwar of Phaldon Primary School secured first and second position respectively in the Class I category whereas in Class II category, Phungtha Tongsin of Little Pearls School claimed first place, Lydia Langhu of St Theresa second, and Neningam Seltun of Koinonia Training School third.
In elocution, Seltun Notha of Little Pearls School took the top prize ahead of Ngamhring Hralhu Anal of Anallon Christian Institute and Christina of St Peters Higher Secondary School.
During the closing ceremony, Assam Rifles Public School, Pallel, was awarded the Best Discipline School title.
