Monthly journal "Nongshaba" released

Imphal, September 04 2024: Information & Public Relations (IPR) director Dr Th Charanjeet Singh released the monthly journal "Nongshaba" in a function held at the Directorate of IPR auditorium located at Nityaipat Chuthek on Wednesday.

The journal is published by Kshetrimayum Shanta Singh and edited by Salam Bimola Devi.

Addressing the gathering as chief guest, Dr Charanjeet applauded the Nongshaba monthly journal team on its 12th foundation day and the re-releasing of its journal after some gap years due to Covid pandemics.

Taking advantage of the function, the director expressed that the Directorate is working for welfare of the journalist fraternity and supporting many media persons under certain welfare schemes.

The director invited professionals from the media fraternity to participate in the competition of "Best Editor and Best Reporter (on certain categories)", being organised by the Directorate where the winners are to be awarded on the National Press Day this year.

The function was also attended by Nongshaba publisher Kshetrimayum Shanta Singh and IPR joint director Tongbram Ramesh Singh as the president and guest of honour respectively.
