Aid extended to police, orphanages, CCC

Imphal, June 30 2021:
Encouraging the police personnel who have been combating Covid-19 pandemic as frontline workers, social worker Wahengbam Dineshchandra provided hand sanitizers, hand gloves, PPEs, Sodium Hypochlorite, N-95 and three-layer face masks to Patsoi police station on Wednesday.
Royal Riders Manipur on behalf of North American Manipur Association provided PPE suits, oximeters, sanitizers, masks and surgical gloves to Covid Care Centre set up at Lamboi Khongnangkhong and quarantine centre set up at Luwangshangbam.
Later, a team of Royal Riders Manipur extended edible items to Hope Home (orphanage for girls) located at Langjing, Old Age Home located at Langol Ningthou and to 50 households in Meitei Langol, Punshi Khul.
AMUCO along with All Manipur Women's Voluntary Association (AMAWOVA) and United Clubs' Organisation, Bishnupur District (UCOBID) also distributed edible items to 144 vulnerable households in different parts of Bishnupur district including Ningthoukhong, Toubokpi, Upokpi, Kha Potshangbam, Nachou, Bishnupur, Heinoubok, Leimapokpam, Irengbam, Bamdiar, Teramakhong and Nambol Sabal Leikai.
Meanwhile, social worker Thiyam Ritu Devi of Bishnupur Ward number 8 distributed edible items to 41 households of the ward that have been notified as containment zones while intending candidate from Langthabal constituency Deepak Laiphrakpam provided essential items to local clubs of the constituency.
