Farewell / installation prog of SER held

Kakching, September 29 2024: The farewell cum installation programme of Sirti Eruwng Ruh (SER)/Monsang Naga Chief Association outgoing chairman Kumar Khartu and new chairman Ts Ngamtin and vice chairman Ng Vincent Konising was held at Liwa Khullen community hall on Saturday.

The programme organised by SER was attended by Sirti Upa Ruh (SUR)/Monsang Tribe Union president Ng Benithan and MNBCA, Liwachangning Baptist Church pastor reverend Ts Morison, who served as head for administering the 'Oath of Secrecy' and 'Blessing Minister', respectively.

The event moderated by SER joint secretary Ts Molarshing started with an opening prayer by St Dominic Church, Liwa Khullen catechist Th Vincent Warnong as SER general secretary Th Robert extended warm welcome to Monsang leaders and elders of Monsang villages.

The other SER executive members who were newly appointed are Ng Vincent Konising as vice chairman and W Hemasing as finance secretary.

The oath of secrecy and act of blessing were followed by songs from Women Society, Monsang Pantha and Women Society, Liwa Khullen.

The function concluded with a vote of thanks by W Hemasing and community meal prayer by Heibunglok Baptist Church pastor Ng Bengamshing.
