Imphal, December 27 2024: Under the Viksit Bharat Youth Leader Dialogue Challenge, the "Viksit Bharat Essay State Championship" was held at Manipur University Department of Commerce on Friday.

In a release, Manipur University NSS Cell programme coordinator Dr Laishram Santosh informed that the championship was organised by Viksit Bharat Committee and NSS Cell, under the guidance of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports as a part of the upcoming National Youth Festival 2025, scheduled on January 11 and 12 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.

Out of 64 essays submitted for the first round, the top 25 participants were selected based on their ability to address the themes and tracks clearly and effectively.

For the final championship round, 22 out of the 25 shortlisted participants confirmed their participation, he informed.
