AR conducts medical camp, motivational lecture

Imphal, December 24 2024: With the aimed to educate and inspire the local youth about career opportunities in the Assam Rifles, a motivational lecture was conducted by the Assam Rifles at Aibol Joupi village in Chandel district.

According to PRO IGAR (S), comprehensive information was shared regarding the recruitment process, including eligibility criteria, educational qualifications, physical fitness requirements and the various stages of selection.

In all, 48 youths attended the lecture demonstrating their enthusiasm and interest in exploring a career with Assam Rifles.

On the other-hand, Assam Rifles organised a medical camp at Old Samtal village in Chandel district during which 49 locals were provided basic diagnostics, consultation and medicines.

In another release, the PRO informed that Assam Rifles organised two events to strengthen unity and community relations in Chandel and Kakching districts on December 23 .

In Chandel district, "A Day with Company Commander " was held in Aishi and Khulmunlen villages, bringing together 78 villagers for activities such as musical chairs, marble spoon races, and interactive sessions.

The company commander of Rana Top interacted with students inspiring them to do well and awarding prizes to game winners.

In Kakching district, a friendly volleyball match was organised with the Tokpach-ing Youth Club to promote physical fitness and teamwork.

Besides the friend-lies, 15 youths present were briefed about sports culture and opportunities for young athletes in India.
