Steps on for 'settlement' of displaced people

The state govern-ment has started process for temporary settlement of the riot-affected people who fled their homes and are currently taking shelter in various relief camps.
To facilitate temporary respite to the internally displaced families till re-turn to their respective homes, a team of MLAs led by Sagolband MLA RK Imo has already inspected sites where people in dis-tress could be given tempo-rary settlement.
The MLA team also comprising Sa-pam Kunjakeshore (Pat - soi), Abdul Nasir (Lilong), Usham Deben (Wabagai) and Arunkumar Thangjam (Wangkhei) along with Moi-rang MLA Th Shanti's team inspected the sericulture office building at Kwakta and Moirang College, where temporary settlement for displaced from Churachan-dpur district might be ar-ranged.
The team along with Oinam MLA I Nalini's also inspected government of-fice at Leimaram, where an-other temporary settlement is likely to be facilitated.
The MLA team had so far visited Saiton, Nganukon, Phougakchao, Leimaram, Sagolmang, Leitanpokpi, Nungshum, Dolaithabi, Moirangpurel, Sanjenbam, Takhel and other places and interacted with people af-fected by the communal clash.
