RIMS organises Swachhta Health Camp

Imphal, February 16 2025:
The Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal, organised a health camp on Sunday at the Deaf and Mute School, Takyel Khongban, Imphal West, as part of the Swachhta Action Plan 2024-25 .
According to a RIMS statement, a dedicated team of .doctors, nurses, and healthcare professionals from the institute conducted comprehensive health check-ups, including general medical examinations, dental checkups, vision screenings, and awareness sessions on hygiene and preventive healthcare, for around 45 students.

The initiative aims to address the healthcare needs of differently-abled students and promote a culture of cleanliness and well-being.
The health camp witnessed active participation from students, teachers, and caregivers.
The medical team also provided necessary referrals for students requiring further medical attention at RIMS.
The event concluded with positive feedback from teachers, who expressed gratitude for the medical support and guidance provided.
RIMS reaffirmed its dedication to organising similar outreach programmes to improve public health and hygiene standards across the state, the statement added.
