KV's Meisnam Rajdeep makes it to RIMC

Imphal, July 13 2021: A student of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Lamphel, Meisnam Rajdeep has become the only candidate from the northeast to secure a seat in the prestigious Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC), Dehradun.

Rajdeep born to Meisnam Samarjit and Dr S Gayatri of Lalambung Makhong, RIMS Road, is the lone candidate from the Northeast to have qualified for the new batch of the prestigious institution scheduled to commence from January 2022.RIMC is an Inter Service Category 'A' establishment administered through the Army Training Command (ARTRAC) under the aegis of the ministry of Defence (MoD) alongside institutions like National Defence Academy (Khadakvasla), Officers' Training Academy (Chennai) and Indian Military Academy, Dehradun.

The selection was made through an all-India competitive examination, followed by interview and medical fitness test wherein only about 25 candidates are selected.
