5th Hangeul Day concludes

Imphal, October 10 2024: The two-day '5th Hangeul Day' organised by Manipur University Department of Foreign Languages concluded on Monday.

As a part of the valedictory programme, stalls were set up near the university's auditorium to showcase Korean food and costume festivals, and traditional games.

Manipuri cultural programmes and K-Pop dance were also presented on the occasion.

According to Department of Foreign Languages' assistant professor Dr A Romita, Hangeul Day is a celebration on development of the Korean script.

A unique feature of this year's celebration is the addition of Korean traditional games and other events which can connect between Korea and Manipur, she added.
