The Department of Teacher Education, Manipur University, hosted a book discussion on "India s Foreign Policy Under Modi: A New Paradigm Shift" on Friday, drawing a diverse audience of academics, students, and bibliophiles across various fields.
Authored by Prof N Surjitkumar, the book offers an engaging analysis of India's foreign policy shifts under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership.
The discussion featured a session that explored multiple dimensions of the subject matter, said a press release from the Department of Political Science & Human Rights, IGNTU.
The chief guest of the event, Prof Naorem Lokendra Singh, vice-chancellor Manipur University, providing profound insights into the strategic implications of India's foreign policies.
Presiding Over the event was Prof Premalata Maisnam, dean (School of Education), with Prof Ibohal Meitei, director Research and Development Cell, attending as the guest of honour.
Dr Md Farjuddin, assistant professor at Dhanamanjuri University, delivered a comprehensive review applauding the book's thorough analysis and comprehensive perspective, making it a critical resource for understanding contemporary geopolitical dynamics.
