AR school celebrates Teachers Day

With a gesture to appreciate and honour the teachers of Jwalamukhi Public School, Jwalamukhi Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of 22 Sector/IGAR (E) celebrated Teachers' Day at Jwalamukhi Public School (JPS) .
Commander 22 Sector Brig PS Arora and ARWWA zonal president Nikeeta Arora attended the event.
In his speech, ARPS Jwalamukhi principal Lakshman Sharma informed that COVID pandemic has changed teaching methodology dramatically from the traditional classroom teaching to online studies, consequently making the task of teachers more challenging.
However, the teachers of the Jwalamukhi battalion taught the students with proficiency thereby shaping the future of children for good, he said and emphasised the significance of the teacher-student relationship and the role it plays in the shaping character of the future generation of the country.
A cultural programme was also organised by the ARPS students to display their gratitude towards their teachers which included a group song as well as Manipuri cultural dance.
Brig Arora, in his closing remarks, congratulated all the teachers as well as administrative staff for undertaking a magnificent job even amidst the pandemic which led to the excellent results in the board exams last year.
During the event, teachers as well as administrative staff of ARPS Jwalamukhi were also felicitated.
