BJP Kisan Morcha vows to air farmers' woes

Imphal, July 07 2022: BJP Kisan Morcha, Manipur Pradesh president Chongtham Ibohal has assured of placing the grievances of farmers, especially the issue of urea unavailability, before the government and minister concerned for early solution.

Interacting with the media after an executive meeting of the Morcha held at Kuki Inn, here on Thursday, Ibohal said that the Morcha has been working for the welfare of farmers by ensuring benefits of all farmer-related schemes reach the targeted population.

Farmers are facing the issue of urea unavailability and the government is taking up every possible measure to address the issue, he said while urging farmers and farmers unions to cooperate with the government.

He also said that all the genuine farmers will get their fair share of urea.

He also urged the farmers to understand the negative impact of Using chemical fertilisers and appealed to them to go for organic farming.

He further informed that the Thursday's executive meeting deliberated on activities of the Morcha taken up from July 2021 till date.
