Ukhrul, November 04 2024: Tangkhul Naga Long (TNL) has demanded justice for the two victims from Senapati district who were assaulted on October 31 in Lamsang area, Imphal West.

"Two innocent Nagas belonging to Poumai tribe, namely, V Hrangao Blesson of Kodom Khullen and Dalou of Liyai Khullen were subjected to inhuman brutalities on October 31, 2024 in Lamssang area, Imphal in the hands of Arambai Tenggol.

We, the executive council on behalf of the Tangkhul Naga community, condemn the very act of barbarity and demand unqualified apology from those who have committed such provocation," TNL said in a statement on Monday.

The apex Tangkhul customary body further demanded government authorities to immediately book the culprits for exemplary action, while calling for the victims to be adequately compensated for the incalculable loss they have suffered.
