3 Corp GOC calls on Governor

Imphal, January 03 2025: 3 Corp GOC Lt General Abhijit Pendharkar along with other senior military officers called on Governor of Manipur, Ajay Kumar Bhalla at Raj Bhavan, here, on Friday.

They briefed the Governor on the current security situation and apprised him about the security deployment in various parts of the state especially in the border areas.

Later in the evening, Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla along with his wife and other family members, visited the Shree Shree Govindajee Temple at Palace.

He along with his family attended the Sandhya Aarti and prayed for peace and prosperity of the state.

Earlier in the day, GOC Abhijit Pendharkar visited an Assam Rifles Battalion in Noney district to review the current security situation in the region.

According to PRO Defence, the GOC was briefed about the operational preparedness of the forces.

He complimented all ranks for their dedication and professionalism.

The GOC also interacted with the ex-servicemen fraternity expressing his gratitude for their invaluable contributions in nation-building.
