HKL felicitates outstanding achievers

Hunphun Katamnao Long (HKL) on Sunday honoured 17 Hunphun natives for their outstanding achievements in various fields during a felicitation programme held at HA Rashing Hall, Awungtang.
On behalf of Hunphun Village Authority, secretary Worngam Muirang gave away certificate of honour to each of the achievers in the presence of their families and Hunphun public.
Speaking on the occasion, Muirang expressed that Hunphun villagers are proud of the outstanding achievers and added that they are a blessing from God.
He mentioned that from time immemorial, Hunphun village has been witness to blessing from the Almighty who has produced prominent personalities from among the natives.
Acknowledging the divine blessing, Muirang urged all Hunphun natives to be grateful to the Almighty.
"Let's all lean on Him and continue to strive for more such achievements," he exhorted.
In the same vein of thought, Hunphun Kharikva Kazip (HKK) secretary Reisangpem Shaiza stated that with these outstanding achievements in various fields, Hunphun village has continued its forefathers' legacy of excellence.
Hunphun Executive Gommittee (HEC) chairman Maranchan Luikham and Hunphun Shanao Long (HSL) president Agnes Shaiza also lauded the achievers and wished them the best in their future en -deavours.
The achievers included National Award to Teachers 2021 recipient NingmareoLShimray, Best Police Officer 2021 awardee Hopkinson Chiphang, chartered accountant Machonphi Zingkhai, commercial pilots Wungramkhan Rumthao and Vaomaran Rumthao, international tennis player Jennifer Luikhim, Dr Sarah Kashung, Dr AS Varekan, Dr Singyala Chiphang, Dr Khanyo Kasar, Dr Sinyo Kashung, Dr Ngahorza Chiphang, Dr Soyala Kashung, Dr Ramzai Raleng, Dr Wungsingphi Kashung, Dr Milachon Kasar and Dr Urthem Shaiza.
Kharkhui Raleng of HKL also highlighted the biographies of the achievers during the programme.
