Death W Brajabidhu, S Hemant condoled

Chief minister N Biren Singh has condoled the sudden demise of former minister and three-time Lamsang MLA W Brajabid- hu Singh, who passed away on Sunday due to Covid.
In his condolence message, CM Biren remembered Brajabidhu as an efficient and passionate politician.
He was first elected to the Manipur Legislative Assembly in 2002 and became minister for Minor Irrigation & CADA before being re-elected in 2007 and 2012, the CM said adding that in his demise, the state has lost an exemplary leader whose absence would be hard to fill.
Biren also conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the peaceful rest of the departed soul.
On the other hand, Communist Party of India Manipur State Branch, Manipur Nursing Council (MNC), Manipur Nursing Council and former MLA O Joy Singh also extended heartfelt condolences over the sudden demise of Brajabidhu, who was also the founder of RDO Lamsang.
Meanwhile, former UNLF chairman RK Sanayaima has expressed deep condolences over the sudden demise of senior journalist Sagolshem Hemant.
In a condolence message, Sanayaima recounted that he met Hemant for the first time in a Khengjoi range area in April 2006.The conversation which took place at that time was elaborately reflected in Hemant's book 'Khengjoi Chingsang Da', said Sanayaima and regretted that Hemant's wish for another meeting will not materialise.
He also conveyed deepest sorrow and shared grief of the bereaved family while praying for peaceful rest of the departed soul in the heavenly abode.
