With the conclusion of the recording of statements of witnesses of all parties in the ongoing C Upendra Commission of Inquiry probing into the June 18 and July 20 incidents at the Kuki Inn today, the final hearing of the probe will begin from November 22 at the same venue.
Two witnesses - Narendra Paul, Dy Commandant 81 Bn CRPF and SI Gunindro of City police station were crossed examined on the last day of statement recording today.
Proceedings of the Commission began from August 2 and around 100 witnesses have testified before the probe, said a statement of the United Committee Manipur.
The statement said that the members of the cell had coordinated the lawyers in their appearances before the Commission.
Advocate L Lalitkumar, N Ojit and Ng Nongyai appeared as counsels of the UCM while N Koteshwor, P Tomcha and K Milan appeared on behalf of AMSU, victims and deceased L Rajkumar respectively, it added.
The UCM has further appealed to the general public to attend the final hearing of the probe beginning November 22.
