They told The Sangai Express at the Congress Bhavan today that party leaders who are aiming to contest the elections are dissatisfied at the induction of new members just before the polls.
This could result in a showdown among the Congress leaders at the time of allotting party tickets.
Meanwhile, Sawombung District Congress Committee, in a statement stated that it does not recognize the newly inducted members from Khundrakpam, Heingang, Khurai and Lamlai Assembly Constituencies as their induction did not have the consent of the respective blocks and committees.
