Youths lured with jobs missing

Three persons who were led away with the promise of giving them jobs as Chief Minister's guards after completing NCC training have gone missing whereas the fraud who duped the aspiring guards has been apprehended by Imphal West commandos.
The missing persons have been identified as Wahengbam Ibochouba (17) s/o W Sanayaima, Wahengbam Hemjit (16) s/o Jadumani and Pukhrambam Bungoton (15) s/o P Kumar.
All three of them are residents of Kumbi Kangjeibung.
The fraud who took away the youths with false promise has been identified as Nongmaithem Napoleon (30) s/o N Amuba of Kumbi Lai Achouba Leikai.
Speaking to media persons at Manipur Press Club here today, family members and functionaries of the JAC constituted in connection with thew missing three youths appealed to the public and all concerned to help find the missing youths.
They said that Napoleon led away the youths from their homes on November 16 with the false promise of giving them jobs as security guards of the Chief Minister after completing NCC training during which they would be given Rs 1000 per month as stipend.
In the meantime, it was learnt that Napoleon was nabbed by Imphal West commandos together with three other persons and explosive devices from Moirangkhom Moreh parking on November 23 but the three youths could not be located till date, said the worried family members.
Among the three persons nabbed together with Napoleon, one turned out to be Khaidem Paikhomba (18) s/o late Kh Gyaneshwar of Kumbi Bazar who was lured with the same promise of getting him a job as security guard.
The family members and the JAC today went to Imphal West district police station and pleaded to find out whereabouts of the missing youths.
