Imphal, February 26 2017:
Union Minister of Human Resource Development Prakash Java-dekar has claimed that more than 40 BJP candidates will get elected in the ensuing State Assembly election.
Speaking to media persons at the Nityaipat Chu- thek office of BJP Manipur Pradesh today, Prakash Javadekar said that the Congress Government led by O Ibobi was unable to provide drinking water, utilize semi-low floor buses and the ISBT complex productively.
Prakash Javadekar said that the huge turnout of people seen yesterday at Prime Minister Narendra Modi's election rally at Langjing Achouba ground was a grand success for BJP.
The massive response indicated that BJP would secure more than 40 seats in the upcoming election.
He also said that the huge turnout of people can be attributed to the road map chalked out by BJP for the State and exposure of the alleged corrupted Ibobi-led Congress Government.
People's misunderstanding regarding the frame- work agreement has been clarified.
He also alleged that Ibobi as usual have no answer against the many charges labelled against him.
The economic blockade is a State issue and the State Government must tackle it and get it lifted as maintenance of law and order is a responsibility of the State Government.
However, despite providing security forces by the Central Government, the State Government is unable to clear the blockade which he suspected is being done deliberately by the State Government.
The Central Government cannot interfere until the State Government asked for it but Ibobi Government is shying away from their responsibility.
If BJP comes to power, economic blockades will be removed from National Highways in a democratic way.
He then asked what Chief Minister O Ibobi had done for development of the State, He asked as to why the Inter-State Bus Terminus remains vacant for the past two years and the big complex is being kept as a monument.
He also asked why the semi-low floor buses are kept idle inside MSRTC complex without using a single bus in Imphal city.
Ibobi Government failed to provide drinking water to the people of the State due to which people have to buy drinking water from water tankers by spending huge amounts of money.
When asked by the media persons regarding Ibobi's clarification and challenge to the Centre's BJP Government to investigate and prove their corruption charges, Prakash Javadekar skirted the question and went back to the issue of drinking water.
He also shied away when media persons asked as to why the contents of the framework agreement are divulged to public.
Nonetheless, he maintained that the Central Government had informed about it to UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi.
