Keirao A/C MLA Lourembam Rameshwor has categorically stated that he and local people are unable to check construction of different structures in the paddy fields of Kyamgei Loukon because the constructions are being supported by a particular Minister.
Notably Kyamgei Loukon is located within Keirao Assembly Constituency.

The constructions were suspended after he intervened in accordance with the wish of local people but the construction activities have been resumed by some people who are said to be very close to a Minister, Rameshwor said.
Even as police were informed about the illegal constructions, police could not do anything as the constructors are being supported by a Minister, he said.
