Fraud slur cast on NISC director

Imphal, June 18 2011:
National Information Science Centre (NISC) Director Ningthoujam Bisheshwor Singh of Heirok Part-II has been accused of misleading and duping the general public.
Staff members of New Checkon-based NISC office namely Asem Rameshwor, Ningthoujam Nanda and Ningthoujam Sunny alleged that the NISC Director had collected huge amount from several individuals with the assurance to provide jobs through the launching of my.net i project.
Moreover, Bisheshwor has also been accused of duping certain land owners and collecting money from them with the promise of installing towers for broadband internet service, they maintained adding that inspite of collecting the huge amount of money there is still no sign of taking up relevant process.
The three further contended that the general public who came to inquire were repeatedly assured to begin the my.net i project by the Director, who had not only closed the New Checkon office but has also removed the signboard without the notice of the staff members.
It is also informed that even NISC development board/committee member are declining to provide a clue as to whether of when the project would be launched.
The three further revealed that fresh staff members enrolled for other NISC branches after depositing certain amount have been left in the lurch rather than receiving monthly entitlement.
