Lions Club conducts free eye check-up camp

Imphal, February 18 2025: Lions Club of Ningthoukhong in collaboration with Yaima Eye Hospital, Khagempali organised a free eye camp at Ningthoukhong Kha Lamlong Bazar Community Hall today.

Free check-up and eye screening was carried out for about 150 people during the camp, said a release issued by Lions Club of Ningthoukhong.

Spectacles and medicines were also distributed free of cost to the patients during the camp.

Those patients who needed cataract surgery were also provided the opportunity to perform their surgery during the camp, added the press release.

The camp was supervised by N Debah Singh, president of Lions Club of Ningthoukhong, L Rishikanta Singh, Camp Coordinator and Ningombam Anjali Devi, Optometrist of Yaima Eye Hospital.
