Dimapur, November 13 2019: The Joint Legislators' Forum (JLF) on Naga political issue has appealed the WC NNPGs and the NSCN (IM) to sit across the negotiating table and bury all differences for the greater good of the Naga people.

The appeal was made during a meeting of the JLF along with the Members of Parliament representing Nagaland held at Rhododendron Hall, Chumukedima, Dimapur today morning, said a statement of the JLF.

The meeting took several resolutions welcoming the agreement between the Naga political groups and Government of India and appreciating Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and Interlocutor and Nagaland Governor RN Ravi.

The Joint Legislators' Forum will continue to play the role of active facilitators and will extend all possible cooperation to ensure that the peace process is successfully concluded with the realization of a political solution that is honourable and acceptable to the people, read a resolution.

The House also appealed all people of neighbouring States of Nagaland to extend all possible cooperation for peaceful solution and stability in the entire region.
