Imphal, February 13 2025: The CPI (M), Manipur State Council has asked the double engine BJP Government to take full responsibility for the imposition of President's Rule (PR) in Manipur.

In a statement signed by its secretary Ksh Shanta, the Left party attributed the imposition of PR in Manipur to the BJP Government's irresponsibility and disregard for the people's sentiment.

Withdraw PR from Manipur as soon as possible and seek fresh mandate of the people, the CPI (M) urged.

It also said that they, along with like minded political parties and civil society organisations, will strive to safeguard the territorial integrity of Manipur even though PR has been imposed in the State.
