Nagas must be humble to all : Dr Lorho

Outer Manipur MP Dr Lorho S Pfoze has urged the Naga people to be unified irrespective of their political affiliations to ensure a positive Indo-Naga political solution and also be humble to the neighbouring communities and win their hearts to support the Naga issue.
The red carpet was rolled out for the newly elected Lok Sabha MP with Tangkhul CSOs out to present him with gifts at Town Hall.
Speaking at the felicitation programme, the newly elected MP expressed gratitude to all people of Ukhrul for their support and for ensuring his election to the Parliament from Outer Manipur Parliamentary Constituency.
He assured to fulfil the aspirations of the people, raise voice at the Parliament for the welfare of the people in order to bring tangible development and peace in the region.
The Lok Sabha MP also urged the people to be faithful to God and remember Him in their prayers for everything is possible for the Lord.
Dr Lorho also said that being the lone MP representing the NPF, he has had opportunities to participate in meetings of political party leaders at the National capital.
He said that this provided him the opportunity to express his views and opinions to all concerned.
This was the result of our prayer, and blessings of all, he added.
Rev.Remember Rimai Pastor of Union Baptist Church led a special blessing prayer for Dr Lorho S Pfoze.
President of TNL Hopingson expressed contentment over the election victory and added that after a gap of many years, a Naga has been elected.
This is not just success but is also a symbol of unity and oneness.
The TNL president also mentioned that the Tangkhul community will extend co-operation and support to the MP in everything, and urged the Dr Lorho to take forward the Indo-Naga political dialogue, which is at an advance stage.
Ukhrul ADC Chairman Dr Yaronsho Ngalung said that NPF is getting more popular in the State and added that the election of Dr.Lorho on the NPF ticket is a victory of joy, hope and unity.
Dr Yaronsho also narrated about the previous 9 points ceasefire agreement signed between the Nagas and Government of India and added that GoI later misinterpreted the agreement and further cautioned the Naga people to be vigilant and be careful.
All must be on the watch as the Framework Agreement may be misinterpreted again by GoI, he cautioned.
Speeches from MLA Awangbow Newmai NPF president Manipur state Unit, MLAs Khashim Vashum and Leishiyo Keishing expressed their gratitude to the voters of Ukhrul district for supporting the NPF during the Lok sabha election 2019 and urged the people of Ukhrul to continue do the same in the elections to come.
Awangbow reassured that NPF will not betray the people intentionally and added that the party will work hard to fulfil the election manifestos .
NPF leaders MLA Awangbow Newmai, MLA Khashim Vashum, MLA Leishiyo Keishing, TNL president Hopingson, Ex UNC president Gaidon Kamei, ex-MLA Samuel Risom, UADC chairman Dr Yaronsho Ngalung, chairman ADC Tamenglong were seated on the dais while all elected ADC members of Ukhrul district, Senapati and Tamenglong, NPF workers, headmen, social organization leaders, religious leaders, supporters and well wishers attended the felicitation programme of Dr Lorho S Pfoze.
