Ukhrul, February 08 2013:
An indigenously designed car christened 'Rukkah' was displayed at Mini Secretariat, Ukhrul today.
With a Kawasaki engine, the car was modified and designed by KS Yarmi of Shokvao village, Ukhrul, who is a BA IInd year student of Pettigrew College.
The ingenious person is neither a certificate holder nor an experienced mechanic.
The indigenously designed car has four seats with the body made of wood.
Due to his financial constraints, the whole duration for developing 'Rukkah' took a year.
Financial assistance from Tennyson Kazingmei VVD, Ukhrul and Assam Rifle officials enabled him in completing the first phase of Rukkah.

The ambitious modifier is determined to continue with his venture.
