Three men found dead

Three unknown persons have been found dead at a wooded area near Paraolon village, Chandel district today.
The bodies were discovered by security personnel who are taking part in an extensive search operation launched by the Indian army in the aftermath of the Paraolon ambush.
The bodies were discovered 20 Kms inside a forest area from the ambush site of June 4 .
Meanwhile, a team of security forces has recovered one live lathode shell and a wrist watch from near the spot where NSCN-K's Major Raja was found dead.
Meanwhile the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has formally started investigation into Paraolon ambush that killed 18 personnel of 6 Dogra Regiment on June 4 .
An NIA team, which arrived at the State capital yesterday visited the ambush site in Chandel district today, said a reliable source.
A team of SPG led by a Lt Colonel is expected to arrive here tomorrow.
The NIA has taken over the charge of probing the incident, which Tengnoupal police have been investigating under Section 302/307/120B/ 121A IPC and 25 (I-C) Arms Act and 5 Explosive Substance Act and 16/20 UA(P) Act.
