Imphal, April 07 2015 :
All Manipur VDF Welfare Association has warned the State Government on Tuesday that it might resort to 'violent agitation' if demands of the association are not given by April 10 .
A press note released by the association further expressed displeasure to some VDF colleagues over flouting the decision taken by it.
It said some VDF personnel are now on duty at the behest of some police officials.
It said 10,500 VDF personnel across the nine districts had on March 20 decided together to stay away from duty protesting the failure of the Government to concede their demands.
VDF personnel have been demanding a hike in honorarium and a service protection scheme.
The association warned that all VDF personnel who are ignoring the sustained strike as well as the police officials who are engaging them in opposition to the strike should be held responsible for any untoward incident.
