Imphal, February 02 2020: Congress MLA Kh Joykisan, today, visited Imphal Free Press Sub-Editor Laishram Anand-joy who is being hospitalised at Raj Medicity following a serious road accident at Canchipur on January 26 .

Anandjoy suffered multiple fractures and head injuries as a result of the accident.

Speaking to media persons after visiting Anandjoy, Joykisan prayed for his speedy recovery.

He further said that he has always been providing every possible help and assistance to media persons and journalist who have fallen victims of misfortunes.

The MLA also donated certain amount of money to the injured scribe.

On the other hand, the family members of the patient have appealed to the Government and the authorities concerned to ensure that his CMHT card can be used for covering the medical expenditure incurred during the treatment.
