Imphal, November 30 2015: Irom Chanu Sharmila has said that she wants to know whether people of the State agree or disagree with her struggle and cause.

Sharmila was produced before the Court of CJM Imphal West in connection with a case against her under Cril (P) case number 129 of 2015 .

The Court later fixed Dec 19 for the next hearing.

During the hearing, Sharmila denied mentioning the word 'death' while fasting at Shamu Makhong in January this year for the repeal of Armed Forces Special Power Act (AFSPA) 1958 .

Speaking to media persons, Sharmila said that today the Court recorded her statement.

She also said that after the completion of the trial, she wants a verdict from all sections of people of the State whether they agree or disagree with what she is doing.

She also said that she is denying even a single drop of water in her mouth demanding the repeal of the draconian law, AFSPA in the State for more than 15 years now.
