Imphal, April 30 2016 : Works Minister Ksh Biren and local MLA RK Anand today inspec-ted roads of Naoriya Pakhang- lakpa AC.

The inspection team also included the PWD Chief Engineer and other officials.

They inspected roads affected by Imphal airport expansion, other dilapidated IVRs and MDRs.

Speaking to media persons in the course of the inspection visit, Works Minister Ksh Biren stated that all efforts would be made to repair all major dilapidated roads of both the valley and the hills even though the Government is facing financial constraints.

He appealed to all the people to inform the Government through local MLAs if any roads in their localities have worn out and need repairing .

He said that the State PWD would work to repair all dilapidated roads of Naoriya Pakhanglakpa AC within the current year.

MLA RK Anand said that some roads like Chingphu-Lairenjam road, Hiyangthang-Kodompokpi Lamkhai road, Mayai Lambi-Airport road and some other dilapidated roads can be repaired with his MLA Local Area Development Fund provided the Government gives some assistance.
