Imphal, October 30 2024: Manipur Legislative Assembly speaker Th Satyabrata Singh has extended his greetings on the occasion of 'Diwali', a very significant festival for the Hindus.

In his message, Th Satybrata said that the festival symbolises the victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, right over wrong, good over evil, hope over despair; an awakening which brings compassion and awareness of oneness of all things.

"Diwali also signifies rekindling of inner light over spiritual darkness in one's self.

Let this Diwali, the festival of light which falls on the darkest night of the month illuminate each and every individual of our society with knowledge, compassion and oneness," he wished.
