Imphal, July 28 2014 : Altogether 26 students hailing from Samusang and Naoremthong Laishram Leirak Machin who secured high marks in Class X and XII examination 2014 were presented with Education Inspiration Award 2014 during a function organized jointly by The Brilliant Club, Naoremthong Samushang and The Laksh Pioneer Committee, Naoremthong Khulem Leikai at Naoremthong Khulem Leikai Community Hall here yesterday.

The function was graced by W Brajabidhu Singh, MLA Lamsang A/C; S Memsana Devi, Councilor, IMC Ward no 27 and Th Ibopishak Singh, chief advisor of The Laksh Pioneer Committee as Chief Guest, President and Guest of Honor respectively.

Addressing the gathering, MLA Brajabidhu exhorted the students to pay attention to their studies seriously as education is the backbone of the society and mentioned that there is a huge difference between syllabus taught at present and those in the past as new knowledge and ideas are incorporated in the syllabus from time to time which is good for the students.
