Imphal, May 26 2018: The Komrem Union of Manipur and Komrem Students' Union has clarified that the 24th State level Khurpui-Lam Festival 2018, held today at Chandrakirti Auditorium, Imphal, is not a recognised and mandated festival of the people.

They also mentioned that it is unfortunate that some individuals are trying to fool the public as well as the Govt by giving it the title of "State Level Festival" while stating that this particular festival is called Lam-Kut-Lam and it is a dance competition of the Moirang region only.

They further appealed to the people as well as the Govt to be aware of self proclaimed leaders and researchers in the future.
