MSME PCI inaugurates state office in Senapati

Senapati, August 25 2024:
Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Promotion Council of India (PCI) inaugurated its Manipur stateoffice on August 23, 2024, with Pradeep Mishra Sarkar , national chairman MSME PCI, attending the event as chief guest in the presence of Swaraj Rai, deputy vice-chairman Operation & Planning MSME PCI, Temuidou Makunga, DVC (in-charge Manipur, Nagaland) MSME PCI, and Dr Romeo Thono Paokhomai, state chairman MSME PCI Manipur.
The event was held at old Monday Market, Senapati.
In his address, Pradeep stated that the MSME PCI will focus on effectively communicating and providing access to government benefit schemes in Manipur, adding the MSME PCI aims to support local entrepreneurship and contribute to the state's and country 's development.
He also promised that MSME PCI would create thousands of jobs in Manipur through various projects in the coming months and urged the public to collaborate with the council to move the state ahead.
On the sidelines of the event, Swaraj Rai informed that the council operates in 29 states and 400 districts with 60,000 members to help citizens generate income for their livelihoods by offers training, stipends, certificates, and loans through 14 banks.
Earlier, the chief guest inaugurated the MSME PCI state office located near Naga'Women Union building Old Monday Market, Senapati.
The event was led by LV Southiru, with a welcome address given by Dr Romeo Thono Paokhomai.
Temuidou Makunga, DVC (in-charge Manipur, Nagaland) MSME PCI, also addressed the gathering.
Bank officials from HDFC and IDBI, MSME PCI district chairman of Tamenlong, Kangpokpi and Noney, state officials, entrepreneurs, police officer and others attended the programme.
