KWWO vice president Kimboi Lhouvum said innocence of Hentinseh, Henminlun and Seigoulun had been proven many times with documents while the village authority of K Phoipi had already declared in public their innocence while their character as drug users have also been known by all.
"Despite all evidence the state government and authorities concerned have not accepted the facts and reality of the three innocent individuals," she said.
Kimboi continued that they are protesting against the arrest of innocent citizens whose innocence has been proven with evidence but had to suffer along with their families and demand their unconditional release before it is too late.
She also said that they all belong to a very poor family background that their families have undergone immense hardships and grievances.
"It is our humble and sincere appeal to the state government and the concerned authorities to also consider the grievances and hardships faced by the families while considering the facts and evidence which proved their innocence and release them without any condition at the earliest," she further added.
It may be mentioned that the civil society organisations of Kangpokpi district had cautioned of launching intense form of agitation from November 11 if the trio was not released within November 10 but suspended it after talks with the government representatives.
However, democratic form of agitations continued till today in connection with the arrest of the trio in connection with the B Gamnom killing case.
The CSOs had also cautioned that its suspended agitation can be revoked anytime if the trio is not released at the earliest.
