Relief materials distributed, health camp held

Imphal, May 23 2023:
Continuing its hu-manitarian service, the Indian Red Cross Society, Imphal East district branch distributed essential mate-rials including trampoline, hygiene kit, mosquito net, blanket, medicines, etc., to relief camps set up in Imphal East district.
Till now the branch dis-tributed relief materials to 47 relief camps across the district.
Meanwhile, Centre for Mental Hygiene organised free physical & mental health camp and psycho-social support for the riot victims staying in the relief camp at Kumbi Central High School.
Moreover, medicines, sanitary pads, stationery and edibles items were also donated to the camp.
The Centre also appealed to all concerned to contact 9612499989/ 8837379238/ 6909366361 for any mental health related issues caused by the conflict situation.
On the other-hand, Wangoi MLA Kh Loken distributed essential items to the relief camps opened in different parts of his con-stituency on Tuesday.
A relief material distri-bution function was organ-ised by SWC of Yumnam Huidrom Mayai Leikai on Tuesday wherein mattress-es, bed sheets, mosquito nets, rice, dal and other edibles were provided for people staying in various re-lief camps opened in Wangoi assembly constituency.
The displaced people are most-ly from Churachandpur, Moreh, Kumbi, Baruni foot-hills, Yaingangpokpi, Sug-nu, Leimakhong, Tronglao-bi, Saiton, Serou, Torbung, Motbung and Nongbren.
