AMGSU appoints office bearers of Charhajare, Motbung units

Imphal, December 22 2024: New office bearers of All Manipur Gorkha Students' Union (AMGSU), Charhajare and Motbung units were appointed on Sunday.

As per a release, a meeting for appointment of the new office bearers for the Charhajare unit was attended by AMGSU Central Committee president LB Adhikari, chief advisor Dr Tankanath Khatiwoda and advisor Indra Prasad Pathak.

The nine-member executive committee of Charhajare unit for the three-year term include Suraj Dhakal as president, Amit Uprety as vice president, Pooja Khatiwoda as general secretary and Uttam Dhakal as treasurer.

On the other-hand, AMG-SU's Motbung office bearers were appointed in the presence of AMGSU Central Committee education secretary Janak Poudyal, PA to president Raj Kumar Rijal, executive member Dillip Kumar Bhurtel and advisor Krishna Khatiwoda.

According to a release, the 18-member Motbung unit executive committee, also for three years, include Devraj Rijal as president, Binod Sa-tyal and Kumar Tiwari as vice presidents, Vivek Dhakal as general secretary and Abhilasa Pokhrel as treasurer.
