Monetary demand to school flayed

Imphal, June 17 2022: Churachandpur District Private Schools and Colleges' Association (CDPSCA) has strongly condemned the monetary demand allegedly served by the KCP outfit to one of its member schools.

In a statement, the association said that such monetary demand from underground organisation to educational institution is considered as an act of terrorising educational institutions.

Educational institutions have been considered a disturbance free zone in the district since long, and their contribution to all sections of the society has been acknowledged as necessary to usher in responsible citizenship, the statement said.

It then appealed to all concerned to respect the sanctity of educational institutions and refrain from placing such demands to them.
