CISF canteen to open for public from Sept 17

Imphal, September 15 2024: In view of unrest situation in the state and to mitigate inconveniences being faced by the people in accessing food and edible items, the subsidiary Bhandar (canteen) of CISF at Imphal international airport will be open for public from September 17 .

According to a statement of CISF, the airport canteen will be open for public as per directive of the Union Ministry of Home Affairs to mitigate suffering of the people amid the prevailing situation in the state.

The canteen is being opened for personnel of Central Armed Police Force and state police personnel with 50 percent reduction on GST and the same facility will be made available to public now, the statement added.
