Shija Hospitals offers free OPD service from Dec 16

Imphal, December 14 2024: Shija Hospitals and Research Institute will launch free morning and evening OPD consultation sendees for 12 clinical disciplines, starting from December 16.This initiative is in response to the current economic challenges in Manipur, the National Medical Commission (NMC) Guidelines to connect with the community, and Shija Hospitals' commitment to Affordable Excellence in Healthcare.

The corporate and super specialty OPDs will continue to operate as usual alongside the new free consultation services, according to a statement issued by the hospital.

The free OPD consultations will be offered in 12 clinical disciplines, including dermatology, ENT, general medicine, general surgery, obstetrics & gynaecology, ophthalmology, orthopaedics, paediatrics, plastic & reconstructive surgery, psychiatry, respiratory medicine, and PMR.

The morning OPD will be from 9 am to 11 and the evening from 1 pm to 3 pm on all days except Sundays.

The registration fee is Rs 20 .

In addition to the free consultations, Shija Hospitals is offering discounts of 20 per cent on inhouse laboratory investigations, 10 per cent on surgical procedures, radiology and imaging, 20 per cent on general bed charges, and 10 per cent on medicines' and vaccines for immunisations.

CMHT and PMJAY cardholders can also avail of the facilities.

This initiative is aimed at making healthcare more accessible and alleviating financial stress on patients, the statement added.
